Orange Schools Seek Mentoring Volunteers

Orange Library in conjunction with Orange Schools will be piloting an after school homework center.  This is very exciting news and the first for Orange School!  The Cuyahoga Library system will pay  to hire a supervisor to oversee the program.  The program will be staffed by volunteers.  Help us find them!  The Pilot program will serve 20 students an hour and will run for 2 hours Monday - Thursday.  We hope this program will be the first of may partnerships.  Read below for what we are looking for. The program will be for 6 weeks.  Help is needed from volunteering an hour a week to multiple hours a week - whatever they can do.  Volunteers will help to make this program a success.

Orange Schools
Looking for 4-5 volunteers per day to help tutor at the Orange Library after school Monday thru Thursday from April 3, 2016 thru May 12, 2016.

Volunteers can help once a week or multiple times a week.  The tutoring program will run 6 weeks from 2:30 - 4:45 p.m. each day.  Volunteer training will be provided by the Orange Library.  No special qualifications are needed, just a love for children and a desire to make a difference.  Can you help in anyway?  If interested, please call Mary Jo Kiss at (216) 831-8600 ext. 6617 or email mjkiss@orangecsd.org.  If emailing your interest in volunteering, please add Homework Center Tutor to the subject line of our message.
