CALL 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE FOR INSPECTIONS
(All Sub-Trades Must Obtain Pepper Pike Contractor's License and
permit if required).

LIST OF INSPECTIONS FOR ADDITIONS &
REMODELING
1. Tree Inspection (before removing a tree, it must be approved
by the Building
Inspector.)
2. Footer Drains.
3. Foundation.
4. Water Seal.
5. Downspouts.
6. Preparation of Basement and/or Garage Floor.
7. Garage Drains.
8. Framing.
9. Plumbing.
10. Electric Wiring.
11. Heating Ducts & Cold Air Returns.
12. Insulation.
13. Garage Drywall.
14. Final Inspection - call 48 Hours in Advance.
Form & Fee Must Be Submitted Prior To Inspection.
LIST OF INSPECTIONS FOR NEW HOMES
1. Tree Inspection (before removing a tree, it must be approved
by the Building
Inspector.)
2. Staking - Done by Builder with Inspector present.
3. Tempory Wiring & G.F.C.I. Receptacle.
4. Footor Forms.
5. After Footings Are Poured - ENGINEER'S SURVEY INSPECTION. CALL
48 HOURS IN ADVANCE (work must STOP until the City receives verification
from Engineer's Office.)
6. Waterproofing.
7. Electric & Gas Trench, Also Ground Rod.
8. Downspouts.
9. Backfill (wash gravel, within 18" below grade).
10. After 1st Floor Deck is Built - 2nd ENGINEER'S SURVEY INSPECTION.
CALL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE (work must STOP until the City receives
verification from Engineer's Office.)
11. Underground Plumbing.
12. Preparation of Basement and Garage Floor.
13. Yard Drain(s).
14. Chimney Throat.
15. Framing.
16. Plumbing. NOTE: Roof Vents must be Black or Match Roof Color.
17. Electric. NOTE: Includes Torqueing of Meter Base and Main Panel
Lugs.
18. Heating Ducts & Cold Air Returns.
19. Insulation.
20. Garage Drywall. (Before taping).
21. Driveway & Apron.
22. Other - Decks (if applicable)
1. Postholes.
2. Framing.
3. Completion.
23. Final Inspection - Call 48 Hours in Advance.
Form & Fee Must Be Submitted Prior to Inspection.
Final Includes: Final Plumbing, Final Electric (Torqueing of Panel),
Smoke Detectors, Security System With Security Company.

9. Final Inspection.
