The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preserving the integrity of the financial accounting system of the city. The Finance Director has the responsibility of preparing a balanced annual budget, which includes an estimate of revenues and the appropriations for all city departments. In addition, he/she is also responsible for investing the city’s interim and long-term funds in accordance with the investment policy adopted by city council.
