Pepper Pike is my hometown. I was raised here and graduated from Orange City Schools. My husband, David Workman, and I have chosen to raise our family in this wonderful city. We enjoy the proximity to many amenities while still having privacy and beautiful green space. I am an engaged, active citizen. I look for opportunities to get involved and follow through with those commitments. I have served as our Pepper Pike Representative for the Orange Community Education and Recreation Commission. I have also spent much time volunteering for our schools through Orange Elementary PTA and am a lifetime member of the Orange Alumni Association.
Professionally, I have been in the dental field for over 20 years. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary. After being chairside for many years, I transitioned into my current role as Office Manager. My professional qualifications include fiscal management, effective communication and productive organization. I believe that my qualifications, community involvement and positive attitude will be an asset on our city council.
My goal is to maintain the services and quality of life that Pepper Pike residents have come to expect. To achieve this goal, I will focus on fiscal responsibility and transparency. Over the past decade, Pepper Pike leaders have been able to improve the city’s financial health without needing to raise taxes or decrease services. I believe in being an approachable council member, who will listen to the needs of our intergenerational community. I am a team player who will maintain an independent voice while making decisions that affect Pepper Pike.
I am honored to have the privilege to serve our community as a Pepper Pike Councilwoman.
